The reason why these two times work out to be the cheapest is because the airline is trying to get people to fly again or they are trying to completely book their flights. The reason why the airline is actually decreasing ticket prices shouldn’t matter to you, the main thing is that you are buying the tickets when the prices are at their lows.

One other reason as to why you should buy your tickets during the summer is because hotels and car rental places will give you discounts when you book your entire vacation together and when it comes to saving money you should be all for that. For instance, when I flew from Dallas to Seattle for a week last summer my entire stay was under $70 a night. That is quite a savings especially when I was staying at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle.

Something that you need to always keep in mind is that buying your airline tickets in the summer will not only save you money, it will make sure your trips is one that you never forget. Believe me when I say that if you travel during the summer you will not have to pay as much as many people tend to think.
